Welcome to The Widow’s Foundation
The Widow’s Foundation is a multi-disciplinary, multi-lingual organisation which aims to support the widowed and their dependants through legal, financial, emotional and health challenges during bereavement. The (unexpected) loss of a spouse, or loss of a parent in childhood, can be extremely harrowing without the right support. Where social services fall short of social need, we aim to minimise the potential for hardship and suffering during this very difficult period. We will also aim to address multi-jurisdictional issues affecting expatriates.
Through collaboration with non-profit and professional organisations, accountants, lawyers, notaries, financial experts, tax specialists and health care specialists, the foundation strives to ensure that bereaved individuals can have easy access to expertise that may, otherwise, be beyond their reach. This practical advice, support and training will empower members to develop skills in dealing with similar future challenges.
The foundation will also aim to elucidate social health issues pertinent to this demographic so as to positively influence future policy to bridge the gap between social support and social need.
If you have been widowed and would like to receive further information, please do not hesitate to contact us through the contact page on this website. All consultations are strictly confidential and your details will never be shared with third parties.
N.B. Multi-lingual and multi-jurisdictional content is continually being developed and updated.
